  • What documents are needed to pick up the car ?

 

  • To pick up the car the driver should have: a driving license, identity card or passport and a credit card or cash security equal to the amount of the collision damage waiver CDW. It is important to have a credit card in the name of the main driver in the collection of the car, so as to cover the amount.
  • What methods of payment do you accept ?

 

  • We accept Credit Card Visa or MasterCard, Debit Card, Cash, Bank Wire Transfer, and PayPal.
  • Is an International Driving License required ?

 

  • The International Driving Licence (IDL) is accepted but not required.
  • Αre there any additional charges locally  ?

 

  • No, unless the driver chooses to add some extras like GPS or FDW insurance. All our rates include VAT & all local taxes.
  • Is there charge for extra drivers ?

 

  • Two (2) Drivers are included in our rates. For additional driver (3+) there is an extra charge 3,50€ per day.
  • Is there extra charge for pick up / drop-off car out of office hours (20:30 - 08:30) ?

 

  • Car Delivery and Collection in working hours (08:30 - 20:30) is free. For out of working hours from 20:30 pm until 08:30 am there is an extra charge 25,00€ per delivery/collection.
  • I plan to travel abroad by car, can I ?

 

  • No cars are allowed to go outside the Greek borders.
  • What happens in case of delay of arrival or cancellation of my flight ?

 

  • Please inform us as soon as possible in case your flight is delayed or delayed to arrive to arrange delivery of your car in relation to other car rental reservations.
  • What is your company's fuel policy ?

In case of cancellation less than 3 days (72 hours) before date of arrival, there will be NO refund.
  • What safety features are include ?

 

  • All authorized by Autorent car drivers are insured with third party insurance, death, personal injury and property damage.
  • What is Damage Protection ?

 

  • The Insurance of Damages is usually included in the rental. It provides coverage for damages presented to the rented vehicle. This means that the car you drive is insured, but almost always there is an excess liability of the driver and in most locations there are exceptions regarding the insurance coverage you have. Signs such as glass, tires, under carriage, replacement locks, replacement keys, transport costs in the event of an accident, very often are not covered by the insurance.
  • What is the Theft Protection ?

 

  • The Theft Insurance limits the amount of the tenant in case of theft, attempted theft or damage to an attempted theft at a specific amount, including.   • What should I do if the car breaks in the engine, or if there is an accident ?
